Swiss Re interview questions

I applied to Swiss Re for a Technical Business Analyst role, cleared the exam, and was later asked by HR to apply for an Application Engineer position instead. Although the role required 3+ years of experience, I was shortlisted as a fresher. However, during the interview, I felt the panel was evaluating me strictly against the job description, which focused heavily on Java, while my expertise is mainly in Python. The process left me a bit discouraged as I felt my fresher profile and skills weren’t taken into account despite being invited for the role.

The interview was structured, professional, and focused on delivery management skills. Questions covered agile practices, stakeholder management, and problem-solving. The panel was friendly, emphasizing collaboration, adaptability, and cultural fit within Swiss Re’s global environment.
