I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Swiss Re (Bengaluru) in Jun 2015
Interview
The overall process of the interview went very well. I had some experience before from other company. Communication was done pretty quickly. Both the manager and HR person was very efficient. Nothing was surprising as the schedule was communicated well before the actual process started. Overall experience with the interview process was very satisfactory. People were very helpful at each stages of the interview process. As I was traveling from other location, they helped me on the travel arrangement as well.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Swiss Re (Zúrich) in Jan 2025
Interview
There were two rounds of interviews, which were a recorded interview and an on-site interview. For the recorded one, I should've answered 4-5 questions, which I found quite generic. The second interview was more technical and two interviewers attended. They asked me about my knowledge in the field and explained the tasks. I answered pretty well for most of the questions but didn't get an offer in the end. I assume this was because I needed more training for the role compared to other candidates.
The have conducted two round
The First round is apptitude
The second round is technical round and face to face process.
The interview process typically begins with a pre-interview phase, where the candidate is contacted by the interviewer or their representative to schedule the interview. Once the interview is confirmed, the candidate researches the company, role, and industry to prepare for the conversation.
During the interview, the process usually unfolds in several rounds. The first round is often an introductory or screening round, where the interviewer assesses the candidate's basic qualifications, experience, and fit for the role. This round may involve a brief presentation or a series of questions designed to gauge the candidate's background and skills.
Easy interview asked basic questions related to actuarial science
Asked few questions from sql(as was mentioned in my CV) and mostly from CM1 and cs1
But questions were quite easy
