I applied in-person. I interviewed at Sur La Table
Interview
After viewing a sign advertising the store was hiring and on the spot interviews, I inquired about the open positions. The store manager requested to do an interview in several days, had the in-person interview and then was recommended to have an interview with the district manager. That interview happened over the phone.

Question 1
Would I be comfortable having to enforce rules and be okay/able to handle pushback from the sales associates?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sur La Table (Freehold, NJ) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview process at Sur la table was very easy going and relaxed. I talked to the assistant manager of the store and she asked me very basic questions. I had retail experience, and it was only a seasonal position. Nothing too hard.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sur La Table
Interview
Terrible. Went through 6 different interviews, and got bounced around to a ton of different phone calls. Time difference made it complicated for trying to do interviews. Not sure why you need to go through so many people to interview for one job.
