Video interview , you speak to a screen the whole time and it’s prerecorded. It’s relatively easy, you can record your self over and over again until you’re happy with it

Background, fav product, good customer service, bit about your self
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Superdrug in Apr 2021
Interview
It was ridiculous, I spent half an hour to an hour doing the video interview where you have to just answer questions with a webcam from a website. You do not speak to anybody just a screen. I then had a missed call a week later, and a text asking for a telephone interview. I replied to the text and didn't get a reply so tried ringing back multiple times over three days. On the third day, I finally got through and they had told me they were already interviewing candidates and they would give me a ring if they did not get through.
It seems to me they don't even read your application, it's whoever is willing to go through all of these pointless tasks the fastest. It's very disheartening and the fact that the interview process is so long and stupid for an entry level job is very insulting.
After looking at all the reviews of the employees in the store I feel I have dodged a bullet with this one.
The interview as a whole was great. But, the interview took place in literally a cupboard. The room was extremely small so it wasn't the best place for an interview to take place.
