StreamElements interview questions

Their was 4 interviews and one 2 pt. take home assignment. First interview was with the Awesome StreamElements recruiter. Then with a manager of 1 of the Creator Success Teams followed by the take home assignment. The next interview was a panel interview. The final interview was with the VP. I really enjoyed the take home assignment since it really helped me delve into the tools the company has for streamers while getting to know more about the world of streaming through making a slide deck.

Since I'm getting fed up with every single company out there giving me (trying to, at least) their own "take-home assessment" I flat-out refused to do such a thing. The initial interview was very positive, the 2nd interview with a technical person was, too. We did a pair-programming (in lieu of the take-home test) exercise that allowed me to learn about how they think and work and allowed them to see how I think and work. If you ask me, this is infinitely better than a "2-hour" take-home test that always ends up being 8+ hours if you want to do it right. Further calls with people higher up the chain of command were all positive as well. They seem like a driven bunch of people who get things done and don't beat around the bush. I like that. Communication is direct, easy, fast, and efficient. My start date is in a few months (per my own request, to finish up some freelance work) and that was absolutely fine. I can't wait to get started!
