I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Startek in Jun 2017
Interview
To begin the application process: qualified applicants must either apply online or walk-in on designated Job Fair/Employee Referral days. Applicants are preferred to be non-students who have open-availability and MUST have a high school diploma.
I applied online to STARTEK and heard back within two weeks. The online application asked for basic resume details, a copy of my actual CV/Resume, and then consisted of a series of questionnaires. It was quick and simple.
Upon first contact: applicants will be requested to schedule and complete a short phone interview.
My phone interview was about fifteen minutes and mainly regarded my availability, near-future conflicts, goals, expectations, and previously-formed impressions or knowledge of STARTEK. The interviewer gave a brief description of the workplace and position.
After the phone interview: successful applicants will be e-mailed to schedule an in-person, on-site interview as early as possible. For this in-person interview, applicants are asked to bring PROOF OF HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA, TWO PIECES OF ID (ONE PHOTO), RESUME, and AVAILABILITY CONFLICTS.
During the interview, I was first greeted by Office Administration who processed my paperwork, gave me a Visitor Badge, and then set me up at a computer to complete a Typing Assessment and Questionnaires. Two other applicants completed this process simultaneously. Following this, we were given a brief tour of STARTEK and partnered with current CSRs to listen in on live calls. This lasted thirty minutes, whereafter we completed mock-simulations on the computers again. Afterwards, we completed face-to-face interviews individually with supervisors.
During the interview: applicants are expected to exemplify a passion for providing positive customer experience, an excellence in delivering above average customer service, and a driven/motivated workplace mindset. Applicants are asked to role play in a mock-call scenario, then may be asked to use five probing questions to locate a pen hidden somewhere in the vicinity.
Overall: the process is very positive and welcoming. All staff and recruitment at STARTEK are friendly and supportive, and the interview is fun and easy-going. I have never done so well nor felt as comfortable at a prospective position interview before.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Startek (Farmington, MO) in Jul 2017
Interview
Well my application got lost online, so I went in to the location spot, spoke to the recruiter and took all of the assessments I needed. Then I got a tour of the place, and then got interviewed. Got hired on the spot. Very pleasant experience. It really depends on who interviews you to determine how an interview may go. Be prepared.
