      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I interviewed at Starbucks (Seattle, WA)

      Interview

Round 1: Phone Interview (Recruiter/Initial Screen) Focus: Logistics, baseline qualifications, and culture fit. Key Questions: "Tell me about yourself" (focus on professional highlights). "Why are you interested in this role/company?". Salary expectations and availability. Pro Tip: Keep your notes in front of you and use a confident, upbeat voice. Round 2: Hiring Manager (Leadership & Fit) Focus: Strategic thinking, leadership style, and team management. Key Questions: Leadership: "Describe your management style" or "How do you motivate a team?". Conflict: "Tell me about a time you handled a difficult employee or unpopular decision". Problem-Solving: "How do you prioritize competing deadlines?". Pro Tip: Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to provide concrete examples of your impact. Round 3: Technical Interview (Skills & Execution) Focus: Core fundamentals, specialized expertise, and practical application. Key Questions: Process: "Walk me through your troubleshooting or debugging process". Hands-on: Expect whiteboard challenges, live coding, or a review of your past technical projects. Pro Tip: Talk through your reasoning process out loud; interviewers often value how you think as much as the final answer.

I applied online. I interviewed at Starbucks

      Interview

Phone screen with the recruiter, then a hiring manager, then a final virtual interview with the team. Took about 2 months in total. I couldn't get the recruiter to answer any questions via email, and at the final interview, I was asked about things that were not mentioned in the job description or requirements, People seemed nice, but overall experience was not the best, wish it was more transparent from the beginning.

      Interview

well structured, formated. Expectation was set with the first question for the complete process. Mostly they test on behaviour part rather than technical. Some technical is also included in the interview.
