Stantec Recruiter interview questions

I applied, after a several weeks the HM called to set up a zoom interview. In the Zoom interview, the HM and Lead for the team asked me questions specifically about my previous companies recruitment practices. They made me feel like they were more interested in obtaining intel about my previous company rather than actually learning anything about me and the skills I could bring to the company. I had a very poor experience in this interview and subsequently withdrew my application.
