I received an email asking for an interview for this role about a week after applying. I gave my availability and the interview was scheduled for a week later by the recruiter. The recruiter missed the interview, emailing me a few minutes before the time frame of our interview was over (we set aside 45 minutes). I again sent my availability and the recruiter chose a time over a week away. Finally, the initial interview came I connected with the recruiter who was on the phone with me for less than five minutes. He only asked "Are you familiar with Starlink?". After preparing for over two weeks, I briefly went over what I had researched. He also mentioned this role pays $20 an hour. He let me know next steps would be an interview at headquarters in the area and he would have that scheduled in a few days. Strangely, he asked me email him if I had not heard from him in three days as he might forget. Three days went by and I heard nothing. On the fourth day I sent him an email reminding him of his request and asking for an update at his earliest convenience. I received a snippy response minutes later telling me to "Sit tight" and wait until the end of the week. The end of the week came and went, and I heard nothing. I reached out again and was told to wait another week. It has been a month and a half and I haven't heard back, I'm sure I wont. I already work for a reputable tech company and was just exploring an opportunity that looked interesting. This process was eye opening. How can SpaceX can expect to draw talent if they conduct recruiting in this way? I would tell people in my space to not waste their time.
