The initial interview was a very standard phone interview you would have with most companies. They asked very little of the typical interview questions and focused on why you want to work for SpaceX and the specific role. The interviewer was incredibly friendly. They also asked very basic technical questions like “What is strain?” and “How would you calculate the force of a spring?”
