This is a racist and unprofessional company and I would not recommend interviewing here. I applied through the website and received an email a few days later. I interviewed over the phone with a recruiter in NY for about 10 minutes, and then scheduled an in person interview with the studio I was applying for. The Studio Managers of my particular studio were extremely unprofessional, giggling and looking at each other the entire duration of the interview. They kept asking each other, "Ok, so do you want to know anything else?" I was shocked and assumed they had never interviewed someone before. I was extremely overqualified for this position, with a lot of experience acting as front desk for many fitness studios. Although I was told I would get a follow up in 3 days, I never received any messages from the Studio managers or the recruiter despite reaching out multiple times.
I then visited and saw that the position had been filled by a girl with a high school diploma and no customer service experience. I was forced to assume that this had been a case of racism, seeing as I am a person of color and she is not. (Take a look at this company's stats and you will see it is anything but diverse)
