      Executive Assistant Interview

      Apr 23, 2026
      Anonymous employee
      Ciudad de México
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Somewhere (Ciudad de México) in Apr 2026

      Interview

Misleading and Disorganized Process I applied for the [nombre del puesto] position and initially the process seemed standard and promising. However, the experience quickly became frustrating. After completing several steps, I was told that providing references from former supervisors was "the last part of the process." Based on this, I rushed to contact them, putting my professional relationships on the line. After submitting everything as requested, I received no follow-up, no updates, and no closure. I was completely ghosted. The recruiters created a false sense of urgency that felt manipulative, and the lack of transparency throughout the process was very disappointing. If a company asks candidates to involve their professional network, the least they can do is follow through with honest communication. I would advise future candidates to ask for a clear, written outline of all the steps in the process before taking any action that could affect their professional relationships.
