Sodexo interview questions

This was one of the most bizarre interview experiences I've had, especially coming from someone in HR interviewing for a role in HR. I applied for the role and was quickly contacted by the hiring manager for a phone interview; she was close to 10 minutes late to the call, and acted like she was doing me a favor by taking a call. The conversation was rushed, she didn't spend any time answering my questions, and I just assumed maybe it was a hectic day. She said she wanted me to move forward with an interview, but I would need to complete a 20 minute assessment first. I completed the assessment, which turned out to take about an hour. Following that, she sent me a DIFFERERENT job that was definitely a step back from the work I have done and was interested in and she thought it would be a better fit (despite my experience not aligning.) She wanted me to interview for the role and asked for my availability, and when I asked for a job description, she seemed annoyed. Because I'm actively trying to find employment elsewhere, I told myself I would at least be open minded, so I sent my availability to her on a Tuesday morning. I received no response throughout the week until Sunday morning when she sent me an interview hold for the following morning at 8am - less than 24 hours notice. It was an erratic and messy process, and if that is how they would treat a candidate for a Senior Recruiter role, I withdrew because it was clear they don't respect the candidate experience.

The process is started by a recruiter. I was invited to two meetings, neither of which were announced as video meetings - and both were. I was then invited to a further interview and wasn’t given advance notice that it would be a group interview. The communication is terrible and arrogant - like they’re doing you a favor.
