I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Siemens Digital Industries Software
Interview
The recruiter contacted me by email and setup a call with the hiring manager.
Phone interview: I presented about my previous work and job related hobbies to the hiring manager. The interview questions were organic from that point and I clearly knew right then that the company and job is a perfect fit for me in terms of technical requirements and growth. The hiring manager was friendly, very knowledgeable and upfront which I respected. At the end of that meeting, the hiring manager scheduled another interview/meeting with the rest of the team. This phone interview lasted about an hour.
I went through the same presentation with the rest of team in the next interview(again virtual). It was odd that there were no cameras. So I could not see anybody there. There were 6 people in the meeting. The hiring manager, product manager and 4 developers. They asked me a few questions about my background which satisfied their technical requirements right away. So there weren't many technical questions beyond the questions during my presentation. The ppt was completely related to the work so the whole thing was very organic. The rest of the conversation was very fun and non-technical(not development related. We were still talking about the technology). The meeting lasted about an hour. It never felt like an interview.
Overall it was one of the best interview experiences I have had. I hate the all day interviews that some companies take.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I had prepared a very technical presentation which I thought would relate to the job. So the Q&A which resulted from it were very technical as well but NOT the usual and crazy "Write me this sorting algorithm?" Haha,
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Siemens Digital Industries Software

Ask you to send code samples prior to the technical interview. The process is fairly quick. I was interviewed by one of their senior developers. The person is really professional and approachable.

Question 1
How familiar are you with Python, git and bash? They also go through your code sample. Ask you to illustrate it first and ask for potential improvements.
