Each person I interacted with was professional, friendly, and helpful. I did not feel like I waited an unreasonable amount of time at any one stage, even though the process overlapped winter holidays. I received communication back promptly whenever I reached out. They flew me to the office where the majority of the team is located for the on-site, which I appreciated and enjoyed.
The best part of the process is that they made a great effort to decide quickly after the on-site and give me an answer on offer/no offer. They were comparing me to their standards instead of to multiple other candidates. I got a call from the recruiter before I was even able to grab dinner at the airport on my way home. I've never experienced an interview process that was so well crafted to be such a positive experience for the interviewee.
The process: Phone screen with a recruiter, video call with the hiring manager, on-site interview with representatives from the team including a portfolio review, technical interview, whiteboarding interview, lunch with the team, and stakeholder interviews (my stakeholder interview was with a design team manager.)
