I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sephora (Holyoke, MA) in Feb 2013
Interview
It was quick.
She looked at my resume and then started asking away.
She asked me what I could do for someone who needed my help,
and I told her I would assist them as best to my knowledge.
She frowned upon that answer, I do not know why.
I think they are particularly looking for someone with a skill set related to the work,
they are not looking to train any newbies.
Even though I do know of past employees with only high school and some retail experience like myself...
This store had very many applicants and they were not going to just pick anyone this round.
I think if you apply through a jcpenny Sephora, you're chances are probably better.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sephora (Vancouver, BC) in Jun 2015
Interview
I was called the next day for a phone interview.
Then I was called back for a first interview.
Then for a second.
I waited for two weeks then called and asked what was going on and they called back and gave me the job!
I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Sephora (San Antonio, TX) in Jul 2015
Interview
It was a group interview with me and another girl and two of the managers. It was very laid back, we even joked a bit. She said that there are three parts of the interviewing process, group interview, one on one interview and then a demo, where they put you on the floor and see how you do. They were very interested in learning about us and who we are.
If a customer were to come in, buy a new highlight, and then come back later with the same highlight but they dropped it and it shattered what would you do?
