I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Newark, DE) in Apr 2014
Interview
I sat down with one of their leads one-on-one, and he asked me mostly questions to see how much my views of client service aligned with Sephora's. A week later, I had a second interview with the store director where similar questions were asked. As it's a retail position, they broached the topic of how to handle theft and suspicious clients.

Question 1
How would you handle if a client purchased an item, then came back in saying they had accidentally dropped and broke the product in the parking lot?
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Arlington, VA) in Apr 2015
Interview
There are multiple interviews you have to undergo before they make a selection. Pursuing them is the only way to go if you really want a job. You will interview with the store manager as well as a district manager. You may also have to do a group interview as well.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Sephora (Denver, CO)
Interview
I wasn't looking for a job I walked in and the manager came over to help me. We began to talk and she then offered me a sit down with her. When I met with her a few days later she told me she liked me and that she normally doesn't do this but she wanted to offer me the position without an interview. I accepted.
