I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sephora (Denver, CO) in Jul 2011
Interview
Three different interviews, completely unnecessary. First with hiring manager, then with store director, and finally as a role play for selling cosmetics in front of a group of managers. This is a retail position, not for a VP position--the process was excessive.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sephora (Pensacola, FL) in Aug 2015
Interview
Applied online, got a call a few days later to come in for an interview. It was one-on-one with the manager. It turns out I was a last minute applicant. Went home, a few days later I was called for another one-on-one interview with the co-manager. They asked very basic and common questions (Previous experience, what would I do when talking to a customer, etc.) They were really kind and inviting, but due to my lack of retail experience I was denied the position. They did say they would keep my application for the seasonal work-period however.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (New York, NY)
Interview
Got called in for a one on one interview. Waited 2 weeks for second interview with store director. Waited 2 weeks for demo interview. Then got called in for orientation.
