I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2014
Interview
I applied through the website and received a call a few days later. Has a quick phone interview with one of the managers; she asked about my background, experience, and how many hours I was willing to work per week. A few days later I had a group interview with three other people that lasted around 30 minutes. We were asked about our backgrounds and what we would do in specific situations to solve a problem. The next day, the same manager called me to set up an interview with the other manager. This interview lasted about 20 minutes and at the end she told me to come in for a "make up application demo". I came in a couple of days later before the store opened and I was told to "role play" an associate-client situation with an employee where I had to create her desired look and sell her the products. It went well and I was offered the job the next day.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Oct 2016
Interview
Applied online and heard back within a week. Scheduled and interview but had to reschedule due to Hurricane Matthew. When I did show up I was the only one there. The interviewer was very kind. I learned it was only a seasonal position (which was not specified on the application.) Would have taken the job if it was full time.
