I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Sephora (Scottsdale, AZ) in Mar 2015
Interview
Interviewer walked me to the middle of the loud food court and proceed to ask me one question, informed me that what I was applying for wasn't available, told me the other options and asked which position was more interesting. After being asked if I had any questions, I received un-clarified responses and a stern, half smile. If you aren't already in the beauty circle, educationally or otherwise, they will not give you a second look, even with 2 referrals and a full sales and customer service resume and references. I perhaps was a threat or insulting, however there were definitely more questions needed to be asked to better learn about the interviewee.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Sephora (Toronto, ON)
Interview
Talk was very plesant and relaxed. I felt like talking to a friend, not to manager. It was better than I've expected. I didn't prepare, I just really wanted the job. I was myself.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sephora (Kamloops, BC) in Aug 2018
Interview
I applied online (Indeed) and received email for scheduling an face-to-face interview. The interview took about 30 mins and asked questions. The interviewer filled a form that seems sort of stardardaized questions form for interviewing.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sephora (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2018
Interview
The interview process was two steps. The first interview we chatted and went over my resume and I talked about the previous jobs I've had and the experiences. We were casually talking about this heir brands and the services they would want me to provide. We discussed whether I'd be happier in skin care or makeup world.
