I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora
Interview
I read reviews here and talked with my friends who are employees, so I felt confident about my chances. The group interview lasted about an hour, and there were four candidates to two hiring personnel. The questions were standard interview fare: what about your last job, the perfume bottle question, how would you handle someone asking you to be dishonest on the job, who was your favorite/least favorite employer and why. We were in the employee locker room on stools around a high table. It was awkward, and the interviewers did not make follow up replies or ask questions to help develop our answers. It was agonizingly awkward. Luckily I got my rejection email just a few minutes after I left.
The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Sephora (Boca Raton, FL) in Oct 2019
Interview
I was first contacted over the phone for a quick phone screen. During the phone call, I was asked about my previous job experiences, responsibilities, and why I left my previous job. I was also asked about why I chose Sephora. They then asked me to come in for an interview. When I came in for the in-person interview, I sat and spoke with the manager who asked me typical interview questions.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sephora in Sep 2019
Interview
They called me and had an impromptu phone interview. Asked me 3-4 questions. Then scheduled an in person interview. I have yet to attend in person interview but i will be on monday
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Sephora (Denver, CO) in Aug 2019
Interview
Easy interview process, though I’d recommend going in to speak with the manager first (which is generally good practice for all retail jobs). You’ll have a phone interview & and in-person interview & then you’ll find out if you’ve gotten the job. Good luck!
