I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Atlanta, GA) in Apr 2016
Interview
I applied online. Received a phone call to set up a time to do a phone screening. After that I had a Skype interview with a different woman who seemed to love all my responses. I was told I would be hearing from them soon to set up the next interview however I never heard back from them
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I worked a Sephora before so they asked questions like:
- what was my role at the previous Sephora?
- what was the volume of the store?
Also:
- where do I see myself in 5 years?
- where else would I want to work besides Sephora?
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Sephora
Interview
It was good but my experience is they prefer to hire internally, happened to me twice. I wish they wouldn't post open roles when they already have someone developed and selected for the position.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Valencia, Comunidad Valenciana) in Jan 2025
Interview

Question 1
Experiencia profesional y cómo trabajas los indicadores de venta con ejemplos reales.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Sephora (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2025
Interview
1st step with a recruiter, second with store director and third with district manager. The questions are quite basic, situational and experience with other retailers is definitely an asset. The whole process was lengthy, probably about six weeks. There are several different assistant managers within the store, each for different departments.
