I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Singapur) in Aug 2025
Interview
From start to end, the process was very well thought out and the HR Manager was very clear in the process. The first interview with the HR was pleasant and she asked really good questions. It felt like a conversation more than an interview, which felt nice. At the second round, the hiring managers were also really transparent about the work culture. I learnt a lot more about the company. Although I didn't get the role in the end, the HR manager still offered to have a post interview chat with me to share why I was not selected. This is rare in Singapore and I was pleasantly surprised.

Question 1
At the HR round, it was mostly about my background in retail and what did I do specifically for retail training. You've to share lots of examples as well of how you did certain things. They also checked in on salary expectations and notice period. At the hiring manager round, they asked more detailed questions about aspects of training and how you overcome challenges etc.
