I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sephora (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2015
Interview
Arrived at the store, where I saw three other girls waiting to be taken to the back for a group interview. Another sephora employee came up to us and encouraged us to chat to each other because sephora loves bubbly personalities. We were finally taken to the back and all told to sit on stools while we were asked questions by the colour lead specialists.
I was emailed that night to come in for a colour demo. This basically means they want to see what level your makeup skills are at. All I was asked to do was a smokey eye. I was given the naked basics palette, urban decay primer potion, brushes, liner and mascara and you have 15 minutes to complete the look while talking to your client and explaining what you're doing to him/her. I was also asked to bring in a friend to play my client:) hope this helps
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2014
Interview
It was like any other interview. General questions about myself and the experience I had with cosmetics. I wasn't required to do a demo. Multiple interviews will happen if they are interested in you. It's best to come with your makeup done very well even if you aren't interested in working in color. Image is very important here (no brainer). It will also help if you are familiar with every category (fragrance, color, skin, ect) Sephora has to offer.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora in Jul 2015
Interview
There were three interviews, one with the assistant manager, one with the store manager, and one with another store manager, and then they had me demonstrate my makeup application ability on another manager from the store. All in all the process took right around two weeks, and everyone was very professional.
