I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Toronto, ON) in Sep 2015
Interview
I applied via email to the Store Director. I got a call a few days later and had a brief phone interview. At the end of the phone interview, they invited me in for an in-person interview 2 days later.
I had this interview, which lasted about an hour, with the Operations Lead and Education Lead. It was pleasant and quick. I was called a few days later to come in for another interview, which was about an hour with the Store Specialist (assistant manager) and the Color Lead. Finally I was invited back for a makeup demo, where I did a full face application on the Store Director and it was watched by an elevated cast member. Afterwards they gave me feedback and more specific details about the role. They made me feel very welcomed and comfortable.
All of the interviews were very positive. The second interview was a bit more in-depth with some more difficult questions but I prepared myself by using GlassDoor and almost all of the questions I was asked, I saw here so I knew they were coming. It's a pretty long process but be kind and confident and you will do fine.

Question 1
Why do you want to work at Sephora? Tell us about a time when you had a difficult client experience and how you handled it?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Orlando, FL) in Sep 2016
Interview
I applied online and about a month later I got an email about setting up an interview. I interviewed with two managers and it was very relaxed and welcoming. I told her how much I was looking to be paid and she said she'd give me 50 cents more. I also applied for cashier but she asked me what my preferred place at Sephora would be. She told me that she just wanted me to be comfortable where I start. I told her color and she had me do my demo right there. The demo was actually a lot of fun - I basically just walked around and helped customers and sometimes helped specific people that they directed me to. They seemed very impressed with my experience (I currently work at ULTA) but it seemed like they would be totally down to hire me even if I didn't have the experience. Just be yourself and love eductaing people on beauty and you've got the job!
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sephora (Schaumburg, IL) in Aug 2016
Interview
There was an online application that took approximately 15 minutes. It took about 1 month to get a call back to schedule an interview. A week after the first interview, I scheduled a second interview. After the second interview they said they would call me back in about 1-2 days, if not within a week. Three weeks later I received a call with an offer.
