My interview process with Securitas began with a Microsoft Teams interview with a recruiter from the company. Unfortunately, the interview didn’t start on a positive note due to significant audio issues. I informed them that I was having difficulty hearing her, but they didn’t seem to acknowledge the issue, and the interview proceeded without making any adjustments. As a result, I had to struggle to hear her responses on my phone throughout the interview.
The interview itself felt very generic. It appeared that they were reading from a script, and there was a noticeable lack of enthusiasm and engagement. Even when I provided thoughtful answers, it seemed like they wasn’t really listening, as they would quickly move on to the next question without any follow-up or clarification.
At the end of the interview, they mentioned that they would forward my information to the hiring manager, and I should expect to hear back by Thursday. They also encouraged me to follow up if I hadn’t received any communication by then. I reached out to her early Friday morning, but unfortunately, I never received a response.
Overall, the lack of engagement during the interview, coupled with the unprofessionalism of not responding to my follow-up, left a bad impression. After further researching the company and reading employee reviews about the overall dissatisfaction within the organization, I decided not to pursue the position any further.
