Schindler interview questions

Got proactively approached and had several rounds of interviews including a mystery invite to take an assessment from a 3rd party and when inquiring with the recruitment team if the assessment came from them I was informed over email that yes, the invite to take the assessment had come from them, but there was no rush on this step of the process. Had a good interview with one of the key stakeholders for the role - and then never heard back from anyone. I know that multiple candidates are interviewed for roles and that sometimes a recruitment process changes mid-way - but radio silence once someone has gone through part of the process and invested time and effort is a no go in terms of candidate experience.
