I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Sandvik (Sandviken, Gävleborg) in Nov 2021
Interview
Applied online. Got a call from the hr asking to interview.
Gave an online interview first to the hiring manager and engineers in his team. They were looking for your background, projects you have done and your interpersonal skills
Passed it and asked to give a salary expectation before moving forward. I sent it and got a reply saying that it was reasonable. They invited me onsite to their facility in Sandviken.
Gave a second interview to the manager more in the line of organisational behaviour etc and discussed technical activities with the engineers.
Got offered the job with a severe reduction to the salary figure I had asked for. The manager was not willing to negotiate and started pressurising to make the decision in a week, saying that they had other candidates willing to join.
I didn't like the workplace culture from this experience and had to decline the offer.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sandvik (Köln)
Interview
Sometime in 2011, I applied online for a position advertised on an online job board, and the group's secretary called and invited for an interview with the design group's head. The position was in Koln, Germany. They paid for the travel expenses.
The position however turned out to be completely unrelated. The description in the advertisement was not accurate.
