I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Rocky Mount, NC) in Aug 2016
Interview
Interview was quick and a one day thing. When I arrived, I met with the member service manager, the cashier manager, and then the store manager. The only hard part was when they randomly asked me to sell a pen. They want to make sure you can sell membership. Also, they want to know if you can handle difficult situations. Drug test was required the same day.
I applied online. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Warwick, RI) in Aug 2013
Interview
It was a multi-step but very quick process. I met with HR and one or two of the department managers before moving on to an interview with the store manager. It was a pretty typical retail/customer service interview, with questions about problems faced & solved, a simple sales pitch, etc.

I applied 3 weeks before I got a phone call for an interview. I was interviewed once by the Member Services Manager & a week later got offered the job which I accepted & I also took a drug test, & did a background check the same day! Last but not least there was orientation which only lasted for 2 days! I begin working immediately after!
