Very easy interview process. They just asked general questions about you and what you expect from the job. Also what you are able to give to the job. They also had situations and how I would deal with them.

Question 1
Just general questions about work history and normal stuff.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Joplin, MO) in Feb 2019
Interview
Was easy enough. Pretty typical for the industry. Talked with a manager from the front end. I was offered a position at the end of the interview. Lots of situational and character questions.

Question 1
What was a time when you handled a difficult customer?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Port Saint Lucie, FL) in Jun 2023
Interview
The process took over a two months with the first month involving receiving an email with questions in which I reply and then received no response and then having to reach out to the recruiter multiple times. Second month was setting up the interview with the GMs of two different stores. One of them wasn’t even paying attention as they kept leaving the interview or talking to someone else not associated with the interview while the other interviews was asking the questions. I was informed they’d be completing Interviews that week and make their decision. However, two weeks go by and I reached out again only to be informed the Market Manager, who’s in charge of making the final offer, left the country for a few weeks and wouldn’t be back till next week, which I think is highly unprofessional especially if you’re trying to fill a manager role. I called back the next week and was told that they just now finished interviews and would be calling with an offer that day. Two days pass and I receive an email saying I was rejected for the role with no reason why. This left me confused as I was informed I’d be getting a call with the offer just to be rejected days later. Unfortunately, I was mislead/lied to by the recruiter which leaves me extremely disappointed and it just leaves a highly bad impression of the company and those involved in this hiring process due to this experience.
