I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club
Interview
The process begins inside of the store at their hiring center - which is a computer kiosk that you manually type in your entire resume and application. It then gives you the personality test. The standard one without bells and whistles since it is just a super club. Then the waiting happens. They will keep your application up to six months, after which it is deleted and you have to apply again. When you do hear back, there is a brief phone interview that lets you know that they are interested in you and you chat briefly about what to expect during the interview. You come in for your first interview and you are given the basic run down of how the store works and the rest of the interview process. If you still wish to continue, they hand you some paperwork and send you to a clinic of their choosing for a drug test. Assuming you pass the test and background check, you move on to the final interview in which you either get the job or you don't. If you get that far, then more than likely the job is yours. Typically they only hire seasonal and keep the best of the newbies on after the season is over.
