I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Roanoke, VA) in Aug 2014
Interview
There are two to three people you interview with. One is usually a team lead or the supervisor of the job area. Second could be the manager of that area and third can be the general manager. This is the second sams club I've worked for and it went a little different then that. In Roanoke va, you interview with the personnel/ HR person. Then the manager of that area. If you have experience and are positive you'll get the job easily. If you're new don't worry they just want a smiling person ready to work and able to learn the job. (Training is insanely boring though until you get off the computer and onto the floor.) Oh. and you HAVE to be willing to sell plus membership and their credit cards. It wouldn't hurt to call the club and tell them you're interested in a membership with them but want to learn a little bit about it - that way you'll know more about the club and hear the benefits you'll be expected to learn.

Question 1
General interviewing questions. Just act like it is a conversation with your grandparents. Be polite, smile, keep the subject to what they want to talk about, and see if you can get them talking about their business. Worst question asked was "How would you sell this product?"
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Lubbock, TX) in May 2015
Interview
They called me in for an interview the same day, and when I got there they checked my availability to make sure it worked for them. When it did they only asked me if I knew about electronics and to tell them a little about my self. The interview was very brief and conducted by two staff members.
I was asked to return the next day for drug testing and a background check. 3days later I received a call about orientation.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club
Interview
I went for two interviews. The first one was pretty standard. It wasn't too difficult. The second one was a bit more intense. The hours and pay were discussed. Then you are asked to go for a mandatory drug screening which has to be done within 24 hours. It is an important step to being hired.
