I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Dallas, TX) in Jun 2013
Interview
The process consists of a standard background and drug test for any position in the store. The process is cut into 2 segments. The 1st being required to undergo a extensive test that covers numerous scenarios to determine your work ethic and psychological development. All of the questions are easy basic common sense what ifs'??? Upon completion you may be selected for an in person interview. One of the main goals of this stage is to determine that it is you who had completed and submitted the test. They prefer someone with prior experience in the position or someone who is seeking long term employment, or someone who at least has a stable work history.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Sam's Club (West Valley City, UT) in Mar 2012
Interview
There was one interview after submitting an application on one of the kiosks with the awful keyboards. The interview was pretty easy. Generic questions from management but the interview was done in the food court which was pretty strange to me. After being accepted, you show up on day one for live person training then for ten hours worth of video training.
