I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Addison, IL) in Jun 2013
Interview
The interview process went as follows, first I introduced myself to the supervisor and she mostly asked me questions about my skills and abilities and how they translated to the requirements of the position I was applying for, then she asked me about my availability and whether or not I would be able to help customers in a friendly fashion, and that was pretty much it.

Met with manager of your section
Met with General Manager of the store

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Sam's Club
Interview
The interview was actually easy. The overnight manager was a laid back, good guy at the time. He just asked questions from a sheet (nothing outlandish, just basic interview questions. I'm sure everyone gets the same ones) and once the interview was over, I was told immediately when I would start.
