I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club in Aug 2019
Interview
Waited forever just for the manager on duty to finally sit down so we could have an "interview" in the cafe area in front of the registers, which I think is unprofessional. Especially learning upon hire there are places in the warehouse in which you could conduct an interview privately!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Pretty general. What's your past job experience etc.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Hastings-on-Hudson, NY) in Apr 2017
Interview
1st interview complete waste of time. Questions for young adults not people seasoned in the workforce. Not sure if this is for me but might give it 1 more shot
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Palmdale, CA) in Sep 2019
Interview
Very informal, held in the training room with another individual to "sit in" during the interview. The problem was that I wasn't interviewing for the job I had applied. The computer mysteriously changed it. All aspects of getting hired go through their website and they discourage face to face interaction prior and after the actual interview. So, now I'm left in limbo and have pretty much just given up on working for Sam's. Everyone there seemed really cool and probably awesome to work with -- it's just frustrating when their online employment system doesn't work properly. I feel that if I had interviewed for the position which I applied, things may have worked out for me.
Interview questions [6]
Question 1
How would you feel about staying a few hours past your shift.
Would you be irritated if your manager asked how long it would take you to finish your task, and then repeat the question 10 minutes later. The reason I'm asking is that sometimes we might need you for something else.
