The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Sam's Club (Fargo, ND) in Jun 2011
Interview
There was a position open so I let my manager know that I was interested. I was going to school for management so I wanted the experience. I let my manger know about this. It was a one on one interview with my manager. The interview consisted of the regular questions usually asked.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when there was a specific task requested from you and you had very little time to get it done. Explain the process and how you managed to get the task done well and on time.
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Sam's Club (West Palm Beach, FL) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied online and within 2 weeks I was called in for an interview to be a cashier. I was hired on the spot and sent for a drug test. I waited about 2 weeks and called to follow up and the Manager informed me that a Supervisor position became available and she would like me to interview with The Club Manger. I came in the following day and I actually interviewed with The Club Manager, Department Manager and The Lead Supervisor. It was not a structured interview however I felt the pressure. Again I was offered the position on the spot and being that I had already completed the drug test and background check I assumed I would be called right away to start. WELL IT HAS BEEN 6 WEEKS SINCE THE FIRST INTERVIEW AND I HAVE YET TO ACTUALLY START!

Question 1
Most questions were about situations in the work place and how to solve them.
Easy, online or in the club. Then proceed call the club you are interested in and ask for the HR person. Ask if they received the application and the status of it. If they are not hiring for what you want then call other clubs and proceed to do the same.
