Got in 15 minutes early, at the door I told the gentleman John that I was there for the interview and he directed me to the cafeteria telling someone will be right with me. 30 minutes passed and I notified another associate that I was there and waiting, she also assured me someone would be right with me. An hour and 15 minutes go but and I again ask if they still want to see me. They finally sent some sort of assistant to the manager as the hiring manager wasn’t even there. He tells me that the job has been filled. I obviously handled it professionally and parted ways but it was a major red flag and telling of the way this company conducts business and how they treat their staff. I’m almost glad I didn’t go through with the interview as sometimes the universe works in mysterious ways and it just wasn’t meant for me thank goodness. DO NOT CONSIDER WORKING FOR SAMS OR WALMART unless you want to feel and be treated less than or if it’s your very last resort.
