I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sally Beauty in Jul 2014
Interview
The interview was very easy, quick and straight to the point. I was asked very few questions, just basically verified the information on my application. Manager was please that I attended cosmetology school and that I am very familiar with beauty products. I was told what the job entailed and asked if I was interested and I said yes. She told me she thought based on my cashier and beauty experience that she was sure I would be good, and also that I would fit in with my coworkers. I was told most likely that I was hired but she needed approval from her district manager. I was offered higher than minimum wage, but that was not the case once starting. I got a call back a week later and started the week after that. I'm still there and although the pay is terrible... i love my job.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sally Beauty (Farmingdale, NY)
Interview
I went and dropped my application at the store, and called two days later, and I got a follow up call the week after applying, scheduling an interview a week later. I showed up for my scheduled interview with my future manager, very friendly, open atmosphere, my nerves were settled less then five minutes into the interview!
