I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (Londres, Inglaterra) in May 2019
Interview
An initial phone call was followed with a second phone interview, face to face at rapid pace for an hour, was like an interrogation. Having completed this an hour and a half, presentation, demo and case study was the next step. This needed a briefing and discovery call and about 16 hours SFDC training to get to a 'basic' admin level.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Salesforce (New York, NY) in May 2018
Interview
2 phone interviews by hiring manager, 1 in person demo, 7 more phone interviews with team members, other managers and executives. The panel demo was super stressful; I took a week off to prepare for it as I had no experience with Salesforce previously. I don’t think my manager really wanted to hire me but others either droppes out of the process or didn’t do the work to create an amazing demo. On a positive note, the app is super easy to work with and if you have ever been a solution engineer before, you will do fine. It’s a little ridiculous that they make you do it as if you are presenting to a customer, complete with getting into character of an actual customer trying to get something done and objection handling. Be ready to answer very detailed questions about the product. Hopefully mine was a unique case...
