I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at SAS in Sep 2022
Interview
Hire Vue where you answer questions on a screen followed by a talk with the hiring manager for the position. They just fired off question after question. Less of an interview and more of an interrogation.

Interview
Applied online through the SAS website, received a random call from a recruiter, they immediately asked salary expectations (I said <$100K and she even still immediately went into excuse mode on how they do 'benefits and lifestyle' instead of salary) and then emailed them back to setup an initial phone screening with some manager of their team.
He called 8 minutes late to a 30minute interview, admitted this position was real new, asked 2 pretty bad questions about Kubernetes that did not really follow after answering the general question I tried to explain to him some other approaches and get at maybe a specific requirement he was looking for but was pretty clearly not very familiar with the technology he was asking about.
Asked if I had any questions after his 2 questions lasted all of 3minutes since he was completely uninvolved, gave quick uninterested questions and then admitted he was 'reading over my resume' and proceeded to stop for a long period of time so he could see what experience I had.
Very unprofessional, unprepared, uninterested and unfamiliar with the technology was not impressed at all.
