I applied online. I interviewed at Roche (Mississauga, ON)
Interview
Slow process. Standardized questions. interesting positions. I believe this is a familiar company with poor productivity at the Canadian branch. Poor communication. Hope the situation gets better. Human resources is also under-resourced and poor communication
4 rounds of interviews on VC with senior management; standard set of questions regarding career plans, motivators and situational questions to be answered with examples . The interviews were conducted on google video. The interactions were friendly and respectful. However time between interviews was quite long. The four interviews happened over 2-3 months. The job had been advertised externally for at least 4 months and ultimately an internal candidate was hired
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Roche (Basilea) in May 2016
Interview
Positive experiences. The entire interview process took 6 weeks from the application on. After a phone interview I was invited for an on-site interview. The people I have met were friendly and well appreciating. All of the interviews were well structured, with one exception only. After the face to face I have had additional phone interview with other interviewers. At the end the hiring manager called me to explain why they selected another candidate and not me. In general I felt well and fairly treated during the entire process.
