The conversation was friendly, professional and personable. It was for a role in an organisation that wants to digitalise its services and processes. The organisation was not disclosed at first to protect the client relationship so I would not bypass the recruiting organisation.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Robert Half in Nov 2022
Interview
the process took less than 24 hours and I received a surprise phone call in the afternoon. I did not know I was not speaking with a recruiter which was a bit suspicious and I could not tell if it was a phone screen. I was barely asked any questions. The person I spoke with provided very little info about the interview and what I should expect then asked to schedule an interview with the partnered client and gave me preferred times of the client. Suspiciously, the person asked if I could schedule outside the clients time and even earlier (ASAP) which felt rushed as I would have about a day and a half to prepare. The day of my interview was scheduled but I did not have a confirmed time and had to wait for two days (day 2 being the interview day) for a confirmed time which never happened. I decided to withdraw my application due to high suspicion, a negative experience with the interview process, and how unprofessional it is to give a candidate a interview day and not a confirmed time.

The interview process was fairly simple as it was just a phone call with a representative and then I answered some questions via phone. There was also some short answer and bubble questions when doing the application
