I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Robert Half (Minnetonka, MN) in Jul 2013
Interview
They called me on a Wednesday and I interviewed the following Tuesday. Everyone there was EXTREMELY dressed up and professional. I felt a little underdressed with dress pants and a button-up T-shirt. The interview was really easy. He talked most of the time and the only question that he really asked is how much I would like to make. I had prepared for a hard interview with difficult questions but he barely even asked me any questions. He was very nice and friendly and I felt very relaxed.

Question 1
There weren't any. I expected 'tell me about yourself' or 'strengths/weaknesses' but there weren't any questions asked. I wish that every interview was this easy!
I applied online. I interviewed at Robert Half in Jun 2026
Interview
The interview was with the recruiter. He didn't have the correct number so I waited for a call for 10 minutes that didn't come. Then I had to email him with the correct number. He also thought I went to an ivy league school which I hadn't gone to. I think maybe he got my resume mixed up with someone else. The questions were basic and not hard. He said he would get back to me but didn't. I attempted to get a status update from him, but he didn't email back. This has been the story with a lot of the headhunter types. I am beginning to wonder if I should just not take their calls. It never goes anywhere, and they never respond.
Excellent communication from the time I submitted my Application. The entire process has been seamless. Everyone I’ve spoken to has been helpful. I appreciate the clear timelines and being told exactly what to expect each step of the process.

Question 1
Very through! They go out of their way to make sure they find a good fit for everyone involved.
They are screening for several different positions. A recruiter asks about past job experience, salary expectations, and job expectations. They then match you with jobs to find the best fit. You still have to interview with the companies you match with.
