I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at River Island (Liverpool, Inglaterra) in Mar 2019
Interview
Got an email inviting me to a recruitment event. Arrived in store with about eight other interviewees and got our passports/etc. checked. All got taken up into the staff room and went round introducing ourselves. The everyone gave a reason why they wanted to work for River Island and then each pair had a role-play. Some interviewees only got to play the part of the customer which I don't think really reflects their skills and is quite unfair. The whole thing lasted 25 minutes which for a group interview with about 8-10 interviewees is a quite disrespectful, I think.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at River Island (Waterford) in Mar 2019
Interview
I applied on-line and received an interview invitation 2 days after that. I could pick a term from appointments provided 2 weeks after that.
Interview was quick (less than 15 minutes) and questions were ordinary - what do I know about the company, why do I want to work there, when I'm available, how do I work as a part of a team, how would I approach a customer etc.
I received email 2 days after, that they are sorry but that they have decided not to progress with my details.
