I applied online. I interviewed at River Island (Rushden, East Midlands, England)
Interview
The interview was really quick and relaxed the manager was very friendly, I applied for a part time Monday to Friday 11-4 , 12-5 I these were the hours advertised on the website, however when I got to the interview it was totally different hours which I couldn't do, I'm very disappointed that river island did this, I personally believe I didn't get the job because I mentioned I had children and wasn't able to work late nights or weekends I know it's retail, but I feel it's discrimination to be honest!
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at River Island (Sunderland, North East England, England) in Aug 2015
Interview
Group interview about ten people only wish is 1-1 basis to sell yourself. Only few had experience in retail rest nothing. River island I think is based on looks not how I work

I applied online. I interviewed at River Island (Belfast, Irlanda del Norte) in Nov 2016
Interview
I had a group interview with about 12 other people around one large table. I personally found it quite intense as everyone listened to your answers and responses. Also sometimes people would have copied other people's responses.
