Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Rio Tinto use the STAR interview technique and all questions were specific to the job description and motivations. They asked about health and safety so be prepared with an example if you haven't worked in an organisation with the health and safety culture.
3 rounds of interview with a 2 part application task - one with the line manager for the role and one with their line manager. All very relevant and clearly explained. Had a positive experience and managed to get the job.

Question 1
Not having worked in the industry before, what do you know about the mining landscape and our role in it?
I interviewed at Rio Tinto (Perth, Australia Occidental)
Interview
Good communication and easy process for setting up time for the interview. Afterwards didn't hear back for a few months despite promising that they will get back to me in 2 weeks.
Three rounds of interviews with HR, Hiring Manager or Managers and Senior Leaders. The interviews have a conversation style rather than testing your knowledge and capabilities. They test your personality and ability during the last interview, however it is a high level conversation.
