I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Rexall (Vancouver, BC) in Jul 2015
Interview
I applied online and got a call the next day. I was asked for my availability over the phone and if I would be able to come in for an interview the next day. The interview was pretty straight forward. The interviewer briefly described the work environment and the role of the cashier. It only took 10 min. The interviewer said that he had 4 other people that he needed to interview and the decisions are going to be made on Friday (my interview was on wednesday). I didnt get a phone call on friday, so I thought I didnt get the job. However, they called back on monday telling me that my training starts on wednesday.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Rexall (Ajax, ON)
Interview
I applied in store with a resume and there was no application. I got a call within a week even though they apparently weren't hiring. The Store Manager took me into the office, looked at my resume, asked for my availability, asked one question, then asked if I had any questions about the job. It was a simple "interview" and I was given a call back with a job offer within a week.
