Revolut Software Engineer interview questions

During the first stage of the interview i was asked to develop some piece of working software live. Then iteratively add features to that. I took strategy to make things in time effective way. To not overengineer solution. I have been asking some specific questions that I was basing my design and code on. At the end I didn't pass this phase because my solution didn't match the key. according to the feedback i was rejected because of the simplifications that I made and specifically asked about them. I wouldn't mind being rejected if I didn't ask about these things specifically

Interview about interests with a recruiter. A programming assignment with Java. A technical interview with two engineers about the assignment. The assignment was very fun, and the interviewers were very kind and welcoming.
