The hiring process was quick with excellent support from the recruitment team. However, the interview process has far too many steps, I understand that Revolut receive a huge amount of applications but 6 or 7 step interviews are not beneficial for anyone.
My personal experience:
- initial chat with recruiter from Revolut
- online test based on the role plus some numerical reasoning
- chat with someone from the area which included some questions on experience
- chat with another person from the area which ended up being much more detailed than I was advised with questions on how I would handle hypothetical situations
- a case study ‘Problem Solver’ interview where I was given a situation based on the role and asked to provide solutions
- a ‘Bar Raiser’ interview with detailed discussion on my experience, requests to give examples, asked how my previous managers would rate me, and other questions. Think a competency based interview but more intense
- offer
Everyone I met was friendly and happy to answer my questions so overall I had a positive experience but I do think this lengthy interview process is more suited to graduate schemes than roles for experienced professionals.
I applied online. I interviewed at Revolut (Londres, Inglaterra) in May 2020
Interview
HR screening call followed by a case that I had to solve on my own - after this I had a call with the Head of the department. There was no feedback provided on the task which we had to complete which I thought was not good since we were expected to spend 3-4 hours on it.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut in Oct 2020
Interview
Call with recruiter followed by an online assessment . The test is very techno regardless of role you’re applying for. Heed company reviews . Not great at all. Culture definitely an issue
