I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut
Interview
The interview was with an ops manager who seemed relatively inexperienced. She had invited another colleague to the interview to shadow her performance without any prior notification. The explanation of her interview prompt was vague and looked uninterested throughout.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Revolut in Oct 2020
Interview
The process started with an Analytics Test that took around 1 hr.
Following the test, I had a 1hr call with a recruiter.
The next step was a Home Assignment that took around 6 hours to complete.
Following the assignment, I had a 20 min call with another recruiter.
Finally, I had a call with someone from the Ops Team.
This process was highly time intensive before anyone from the actual hiring team evaluates your profile which makes every candidate work for several days in later earliest stages of the process.

Question 1
Home Assignment that requires you to make detailed analytical work
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Revolut (Berlín) in Jan 2020
Interview
Absolutely pathetic. Took two months for the whole process. Some of the steps required a significant investment of time and effort. After all the effort, at the end their response was 'We like you, but the role has gone on hold'. This was conveyed a week after the final interview - meaning that they knew that the role was on hold and still went ahead with the interview. Their HR team's response was a cold email saying - 'there are other roles open in London, which they will consider my profile for' (I applied for a position in Berlin). No courtesy call from the HR, just a vague email.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. We appreciate your honesty. We understand that it can be very frustrating to put a lot of effort into the recruitment process and then hear that the role has been put on hold. We encourage all our recruiters to be open and communicate regularly with their candidates to ensure that they’re properly informed of everything that’s going on during the recruitment process. Occasionally we have to re-evaluate the business need of certain roles on an ongoing basis, but we still value your effort and potential as a candidate, which is why you were offered alternative positions in our HQ. We hope that you take some more time to consider if these positions are interesting options for you, but we are also hiring for many different roles globally on our website, so please do check back to see if there are positions that are appealing to you.
